What’s the difference between Asus and HP Netbooks?

August 26th, 2009 jedwan No comments

I’m looking to buy a Netbook and am having a hard time choosing between these:

  • ASUS 10.1" Eee PC 160GB Netbook Computer
  • HP 10.1" Mini Notebook PC – Black (110-1030NR)
The specs are pretty much the exact same… the only difference is the brand and the price. Asus- $299, HP- $349
Are you only paying for the name? What would be the pros and cons of both?
I plan on installing Microsoft Word/Excel/Powerpoint, iTunes, and my photos; and will primarily be used for college notes/papers.
    Thoughts? Ideas?
