Mobile Phone Monitor

Just bougth an HP Mini Netbook – seems that the battery is either 1) Inserted incorrectly (cannot imagine how, it just clicks in); 2) Will not take a charge; 3) Battery indicator does not indicate there is a battery, or I guess 4) Battery is defective.

Any clues/suggestions? Thank you!

Lots of times when a user purchases a new computer, the manufacturer includes OEM software to supplement the hardware that was purchased. OEM stands for Original Equipment Manufacturer. They can choose what features to include with your computer while disabling others. For most users, the included feature set is going to be enough to get the new owners feet wet about how their DVD Burner works, but what if you need more features then what is given? A great example is when I purchased a Compaq a long time ago. It had a feature limited version of NERO loaded on the machine. After registering the software, which I thought was required to use it, I was sent an email to buy the full version of the software for a discount. I was very skeptical. Then when I clicked the link in the email to see what the discount was , it was Nero Ultimate for $19.99! This was an upgrade version , however. but the discount was tempting! I bought it, downloaded and installed it, and within an hour I had 85 percent more features on my computer then what was included when I used the factory default software. So before you write off promotional emails as spam , listen to what they have to say. You can always opt out if you dont like it.

I have a Gateway M-6750 and the multimedia control panel is not working and also the touch volume on top is not working. However, the mute button on top does work. It’s strange. If you could help me figure out what’s wrong and how to fix it, I would be very grateful.

I went to Best Buy today to upgrade to  the Impression. I was told I had to buy it on line. I don’t have a problem with with doing that and another  2 year contract. We’ll probably always have AT&T.

The girl at Best Buy told me I wouldn’t have to change my plan – just extend it for two more years. Made me happy – but when I look here it gives you the option of 3 plans. None of which I want.

Is there a way to keep the plan you have. I have a family plan that suits us fine. We don’t need more minutes.

I have a iPhone 3G 16GB under warranty at Best Buy. I have recently dropped it in water and it has stopped working. How will Best Buy replace it if they do not have the iPhone 3G model anymore in the 16GB? Will I get a 3GS in its place?

I ordered the above machine on the 18th of August while it was listed as instock online. I was notified that it had to be backordered on the 21st of August. A little less than a week later, I recieve a second e-mail informing me that my order had to be backordered. I was wondering how many other people have experienced this delay, and if anyone knows how long of a wait we are looking at here. Thank you!

I’ve been getting this error the last couple of days. I dont know what it means or what to do about it. Who should I talk to about this error or what EXACTLY (if any) can I do to fix this. I bought this laptop Aug 7th, so it’s quite new.

I am planning on purchasing a new portable external hard drive at Bestbuy. I have been looking at several options and at many customer reviews and have narrowed it down to two products.

I am looking for a quality product that could last me several years and that is sturdy. I need something that can backup my office files, and also store a lot of my movies, music and photos.  Both my choices have 500GB of storage and are portable. They both have generally positive reviews, but the first choice is about $116 before taxes, and the second is $156 before taxes. If the second is a better buy and value than I do not mind getting it.
