Inspirational. Tears created caressing down my cheeks. Truly wonderful. An excellent insight into an issue so deeply ignored and understated.

    Humbling.

Thankyou so so so much for this video.
It took my breath away :)

@gegito Hey mate, thanks for the feedback. A film is actually about story (message), not technique (except in rare cases like Avatar!). Do you go see a movie because it’s shot on 35mm and edited nicely or do you sit down and get swept away by a story? Appreciate your feedback though, that’s what YouTube is all about – cheers, Jason (Director)

  12. gegito says:

A film can’t win a prize because of its message!

    beautiful piano

  14. TackyNames says:

The video is taken by a cell phone camera… It wasn’t meant to have amazing editing or fancy effects. The whole video IS the message.

  15. gegito says:

Not me, but I know a few people that could. This film is only interesting due to it’s message, because the rest is absolutely horrible. Poor editing, bad video quality… The originality saves it, but that’s it.

  16. TackyNames says:

    Can you do much better?

  17. NGARUD16 says:

Amazing. This is my favorite short film. I watched it months ago, and I still watch it every now and then… as a reminder. It keeps having such an impact on me. Thanks for making it. Un corto simple y a la vez tan profundo. Hermoso.

I love the simplicity of the film with the complexity of the message. I have seen this about 8 times now and everytime it moves me. I really admire the creativity. If only I were that creative. :)

Jason… I thought i did see it in context – i was watching it on TV, they asked you what you spent it on and you both laughed and said “Lunch, I think.” I just thought it seemed a little flip considering the subject matter… i really did think it was a fantastic film though. If i were you, i would have said something about the donating food bit!
