No Comments »Music Licence not working on new download
August 30th, 2009 jedwan Hi, I’ve just bought my first album through Nokia Music and put it on my phone from my laptop using the Nokia Music Windows App but can’t get the licence to work. It is working fine on the computer but gives me one of two messages on my phone. It either says it is unable to aquire the licence or takes me straight to my account and tells me to buy the album again. To make sure it wasn’t a configuration issue with the phone I have reinstalled the latest firmware. Any help would be very appreciated. Another point that may be relevant is that the Tools -> Actv. keys menu option doesn’t exist. Thanks, Gabriel

August 30th, 2009 jedwan hi, i have now the new e71 – before i had a blckberry curve 8300. how can i search a company name in the adressbook? by the curve it was no problem – the search was in all programs files ect. so it was able to find every information. for example by the e71 i know only the company name but the phone only search names (first and second) so i will not get the number! I mean it is a businesshandy and i have over 600 contacts and some time you only remember the company name, so is there any searchprogramm which search in all emboss of the mobile phone . i like the e71 but if this problem will not solve a have to change to the curve – what i do not realy want. thanks

August 30th, 2009 jedwan I have tried several times with Verizon and Nokia US to get someone to address this issue. There are some other sites that share a common theme that Verizon directed Nokia to "emasculate" the phone so that it could only sync with an internet service that Verizon cannot otherwise sell. I am not much for conspiracy theories but- the Verizon site offers no disclosure on the subject synchronization. Nor do the Nokia site(s). Even the OVI site has nothing to offer. Here are two sites, which one would think would be authoritative on the subject. As you will see- there is no support. Nor does there appear to be a plan for support. http://europe.nokia.com/get-support-and-software/product-support/isync/compatibility-and-download http://www.apple.com/support/isync/ Can anyone provide any other resource or experience that my address the need to synchronize with the Macintosh? August 30th, 2009 jedwan Hi all……. when i have fw 10 was i don’t have any problem with maps and even the signal just a second i got the signal but after i update to firmware 11. i can’t used the maps anymore, i mean when i open the maps " can’t install application. install latest version from nokia.com/maps" but when i try to install they said not application not support. first i try to go to ovi.com than go to maps like what i did before fw 11 but now they said that my device not supported and i try to download with pc also same problem. anyone know how i can download the maps to my n97? thanks

August 30th, 2009 jedwan Hi guys, I have a common problem as you can understand from my subject. I can’t synchronize the address book of Microsoft Outlook 2003 and my Nokia e71 (just tried from telephone to outlook). I have already tried I think all the possible options in the pc suite. I tried also to install the software more time changing the language version, I had first the German one and now I switched to the Italian one same version. Of course nothing is changed unfortunately. I want to specify 2 importants issues: -Outlook 2003 is my only mail software installed and of course it is the predifined -Outlook 2003 is in German Language and my operative system is Italian (windows and as well the telephone os). Here the versions of the software I am using: – Windows XP Home Edition (2002) SP 3 – Nokia PC Suite 7.1.30.9 – Connection method USB – Microsoft Outlook 2003 (11.8217.8221) SP3 (from suite Microsoft Office Professional) I hope you can find a solution for me, it’s a very annoying problem. :smileysad: Thank you for your help in advance. cheers
