Hi, Brother i am facing an error during the startup of Nokia software updater it gives an error that " Sorry, The software updater service is unavailiable, Plz try again later". Any body can tell me wht should i do. I have to update the software of Nokia 6120 classic. Thanks

August 29th, 2009 jedwan it can be easily paired with headset. but every now and then it disconnect and connect with the headset. i have already consulted with plantronics and mentioned a power cycle to be done and remove current pairing and re-pairing it again. but the issue is still exists. 5800 current firmware version is v 30.0.0.11 any idea from nokia’s end? highly appreciatted a response. thanks

August 29th, 2009 jedwan When you dial a phone number that comes up with a computer guided menu, you must select menu options by pressing a numeric key ("press 1 for sales, press 2 for repair, etc."). Is there an option on the N97 where you can set that the numeric keypad comes up automatically on the touch screen when an outgoing call is started and during the call? Both in direct dialing or through the Contacts list. If there is not such an option then how can I mention this problem to Nokia? Thank you very much for your helpful hints. Wumke

August 29th, 2009 jedwan Help please . I also upgraded to Maps 3.0 then tried reinstalling the new zealand map on my 5800 . it downloads to 100 % but stops during save to storage medium at 13 % and wont go any further ? get an error message about not enough storage space on my memory card, h owever there is still over 5Gb free . Read in another thread to try deleting cities & qf folders on my memory card , so did that but it doesn’t make any difference . Tried rolling back to Maps 2.0 and now get a similar problem at about 23 %. how do i fix this please anyone ?

August 29th, 2009 jedwan Hello, I have this annoying problem which effectively renders MMS-recording useless on my Nokia 5800 as I have noticed that the Voice Recorder seems to pause at random? Basically I can just activate voice recording and leave the mobile on a table not interfering with it at all but it still insists on entering pause mode after what seems a random amount of minutes. I really cannot see how this can be anything else than a bug since I do not touch the mobile but it still enters pause mode and I cannot find any settings that would explain this behavior. Is this issue known and is there a solution/workaround?

August 29th, 2009 jedwan Hello, I have Route 66 Mobile 7 S60 V2/3 installed at a new Nokia 5800.(it comes from my older Mobile N80i) The software Route66 start up very well but can handle the touchscreen of the Nokia 5800. Is there an possibilty that the Nokia 5800 can work with mine Route 66 version. Route66 said that you need S60 V5, but maybe somebody knows an other solution. Thx

August 29th, 2009 jedwan i bought a new e63 imported from spain. it had a difference in the keys as compared to the local e63 phones available in the market. i got the phone flashed and a new version software in the phone but the keys wont work as printed on them. e.g. on my keypad question mark sign is with the ‘W’ button.but when i use try to use it…the designated button of my keypad doesnot work and instead the full stop button which is second next to the space bar puts a question mark in the text. my phone had an original software of yoigo. is there any place where i can find the original software for the phone?
